Luca the Label and Hughies Surfboards, Coolum

Meet Hugo, Courtney, Aila and Luca.  Courtney runs her own label of children’s wear called Luca the Label, and Hugo builds unglassed timber surfboards; they’re entrepreneurs who’ve made their home – and set up their businesses too – in Coolum.

So how do they describe where they live? 

“Spectacular, brilliant…”

“Relaxed vibes is probably the main one too.  Really family friendly, really family friendly.”

“Basically everything you need you can get in Coolum.”

“Yeah, you got the beaches, you’ve got the forest trails, you’ve got nice Mt Coolum walk, you’ve got beautiful cafes, nice food. Everything’s kind of at your fingertips, which is kind of cool.”
